Abridge is experiencing rapid growth across all areas, and we are looking for a friendly, organized and highly proactive Workplace coordinator for our New York office. This onsite role, based in New York City, is essential in creating a welcoming environment, supporting daily workplace operations, and helping our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. You will greet guests, manage visitor flow as well as contribute to the overall daily operations of the local office as a part of our Workplaces team.
Job Responsibility:
Manage Visitor Experience: At the front desk, create a welcoming and seamless experience for guests, candidates, and vendors
Ensure smooth daily Workplace Operations: Being a physical presence at the reception desk, day-to-day visitor flow falls under your ownership
Enable Office Events & Culture: Supporting onsite events—team meetings, celebrations, and cultural moments—will be a key part of this role
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in reception, workplace/office coordination, or administrative support roles, with proven success in dynamic environments
Experience in high-growth or early-stage startup environments, where responsiveness, flexibility and adaptability are essential
Strong Communication: Clear, concise, and confident in verbal and written communication
Discretion and Sound Judgment: Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion
Proactive Problem-Solving: A knack for identifying gaps, anticipating needs, and taking initiative
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack and a desire to adopt new tools
Nice to have:
Experience with productivity tools such as Envoy, Notion and Ramp
Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy regulation, and compliance standards, or a willingness to learn
