Job Description

We are looking for a Workplace Coordinator to support day-to-day office operations for a FinTech organization in New York, New York. This Contract position requires someone who can keep workplace activities organized, respond professionally to incoming inquiries, and help maintain smooth coordination across schedules, staffing, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate daily workplace operations and help ensure office activities run efficiently and on schedule
  • Manage dispatch-related requests by directing tasks to the appropriate contacts and following through on completion
  • Organize calendars, appointments, and internal scheduling needs to support team coverage and workplace priorities
  • Handle inbound calls with professionalism, provide accurate information, and route inquiries to the correct departments
  • Support payroll administration by assisting with full-cycle payroll tasks, record accuracy, and timely processing
  • Provide day-to-day coordination support for supervisors and team leads, helping maintain clear communication and accountability
  • Monitor administrative workflows, resolve routine issues, and escalate more complex matters when needed

Requirements

  • Experience in workplace coordination, office administration, or a similar support-focused role
  • Working knowledge of dispatch coordination and schedule management in a busy operational setting
  • Ability to assist with full-cycle payroll processes while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal communication skills with experience managing inbound phone inquiries professionally
  • Proven ability to stay organized, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines
