Our department 'Development of Electric Drive Systems, Power Electronics, and Transmissions' at the Kassel location consistently transforms innovations into economically viable products and continuously improves existing ones. Our development work includes processes such as impregnation, electrical testing, contacting, winding, coating, gap filling, and joining. If you're available for 20 hours per week and excited about a 12-month collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing tools and equipment for manufacturing process development
  • Supporting through research, feasibility studies, and material analysis
  • Conducting, monitoring, documenting, and evaluating test series
  • Independently executing small work packages within projects
  • Assisting in various pre-development projects

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree students (or advanced Bachelor’s students with at least 90 ECTS) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields
  • Good to very good academic performance
  • Advanced CAD skills required, along with proficiency in MS Office
  • Prior experience with design software, project execution, and electric machines is desirable
  • German and English language skills at B2 level
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
