Job Description:

As a working student in Group Industrial Engineering at Volkswagen, you will be part of an innovative team that develops advanced methods of production and process planning and implements them worldwide. You will work on AI-based solutions for autonomous process planning for real vehicle projects. A dynamic, interdisciplinary environment awaits you, where your ideas are welcome and you can help shape technological innovation. Job Responsibility:

Support in data preparation, training, and application of generative AI models for process planning
Assisting in the prototypical implementation and evaluation of algorithms for process optimisation
Participate in the application of AI solutions in real vehicle projects and analyse the results
Collect and evaluate user feedback to further develop existing AI agents and contribute to the design of new solutions

Requirements:

Students of business informatics, industrial engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
Basic knowledge of data analysis, statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is an advantage
Interest in mathematical optimisation and operations research
Willingness to familiarise yourself with ergonomic and production-related topics
First practical experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Matlab or comparable tools is desirable
