Job Responsibility:
Develop and design innovative ideas for CFRP structures contributing to the hydrogen aircraft architecture
Use 3DEXPERIENCE to create detailed 3D models and assemblies
Support the pre-sizing of components. Ideally, perform initial FEM calculations to validate your designs regarding weight and strength
Help build the parts. Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering colleagues to manufacture and assemble your concepts in the workshop
Exchange between design, stress and the manufacturing shop floor, ensuring that what is designed can actually be built
Requirements:
Enrolled student in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree
Basic to advanced knowledge in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) / Catia V5 is highly desired. If you are proficient in other CAD tools, a strong motivation to learn 3DX quickly is required
Basic understanding of FEM (Finite Element Method) and pre-sizing principles is preferred. Motivation to deepen your knowledge in this area is key
Understanding of composite materials (CFRP) and mechanical design principles
Fluent in English
German is a strong plus (especially for communication in the workshop) but not a must
Nice to have:
German language skills
