In our 'Development of Electric Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions' division, we are responsible for the development of all future pulse-width modulated inverters (PWRs) for electric drives. The assignment period in Kassel/Baunatal is ideally 12 to 24 months—allowing you to contribute your expertise to innovative projects over the long term while pursuing your studies.
Job Responsibility
Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of laboratories and measurement equipment, as well as with administrative tasks in the laboratory environment (e.g., inventory management and organization)
Contributing to the design, execution, and documentation of hardware tests (unit and integration tests)
Developing tools (such as adapter boards or signal generators) for test execution
Developing and implementing automated processes and evaluations
Supporting the project 'Development and Implementation of a Maintenance and Documentation Tool for Measurement Equipment'
Requirements
Students (including those on a gap year) majoring in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields
Good to very good academic performance
Knowledge of power electronics or hardware development, as well as circuit design and microelectronics, is desirable
Experience with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, or similar tools is a plus
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
German and English language level B2
Class B driver's license required
