In this role, you’ll take ownership of core FP&A and controlling tasks. You’ll gain hands-on experience in investor reporting, budgeting, and financial automation — with guidance and mentorship to help you build expertise quickly. We offer a one-year contract (with the option to extend) starting in January or February 2026.

Job Responsibility

  • Support of the Cost Controlling Function - Monitor budget adherence and the purchase order process, ensure compliance with internal policies, provide financial insights to team owners, and prepare budget vs. actuals reporting
  • Investor Reporting – Support in preparing investor and executive reports, gathering and analysing data, and ensuring accuracy and consistency using tools such as DATEV and Lucanet
  • Reporting Excellence - Work end-to-end with accounting and tax to improve reporting quality, streamline month-end processes, and enhance our P&L and balance sheet structure
  • Support in Planning & Forecasting - Assist in updating the business plan and forecasts, help maintain financial models, and gain hands-on experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Business Administration, Economics, Finance) and looking for a working student position for 20 hours a week
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, reporting know-how)
  • Solid conceptual understanding of financial accounting and reporting (e.g. key accounting principles, cost centres, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement) combined with a strong interest in financial analysis
  • Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from data and communicate them clearly
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
