Job Description

Minster Cleaning are recruiting for a Mobile Area Cleaning Supervisor to compliment the Field Management team covering the areas of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire & Herefordshire. This is a hands on role.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
  • Stock control - on consumables, cleaning products and cleaning equipment
  • Deal with any client requests promptly and politely
  • Work to agreed time allocations for each job
  • Providing training to new and current cleaners as required
  • Delivering equipment and cleaners to work sites
  • Carrying out cleaning checks/ Audits and report your findings
  • Assisting with the setting up of new contracts
  • Undertake cleans covering sickness, holiday or new contracts

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Cleaning: 1 year (required)
  • Full, clean drivers licence
  • Calm multi-tasker who works well under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent attitude to attendance and timekeeping
  • Great communication skills with clients and cleaners alike

  • Assist staff on site if they have any issues understanding any of the content in the site Bible folder
  • Advise the Regional and Account Manager if the site Bible needs to be updated, including RAMS, SSOW, COSHH sheets, etc
  • Assist the Regional and Account Manager to monitor Health and Safety on site including delivery of toolbox talks, online training, New employee inductions
  • Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as per the Pareto procedures
  • Advising Regional Account Manager of any portable appliance testing as required
  • Monitor Smart task useage and ensure team are booking in and out as per instructions, support team in useage as and when required
