Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Welding Working Leaderman with at least 3 to 5 years of craft-specific experience performing structural welding functions. The candidate will lead his/her craft in the successful implementation of production activities as it relates to associated shipbuilding and/or repair functions in addition to performing craft specific operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Must be familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors
  • Must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety and environmental aspects of work being performed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of craft-specific experience performing structural welding functions
  • Ability to interpret standard construction drawings
  • Basic knowledge of Structural Fitting specific processes and techniques
