We are delighted to announce we are looking for a Working Foreperson to join our Response/ Maintenance based in the Waverley area. You will lead a team of Trade Operatives specialising in delivering repairs and maintenance services to our customers properties.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach and develop a successful, high performing Operative team, supporting them on site to deliver work to a high quality standard
Utilise your IT skills, by producing and reviewing productivity reports, confirming weekly timesheets and engaging with customers and the client
Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilising problem-solving capabilities
Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly
Requirements:
Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade
Demonstrable experience of successfully leading an on site team
Driving license, with eligibility to drive in the UK
Nice to have:
Ideally experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential)
Having a passion for making a difference to peoples homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people
