Amentum is looking for a Workforce Support Security Lead to join our team in Springfield, VA.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing all Workforce Support Center (WSC) Security personnel, Security Monitors and performing duties in all areas when needed
Supervising and training security personnel in the areas of WSC security
All WSC security document control
Developing, implementing and enforcing WSC Security Operating Procedures (SOP)
Planning for and administering all WSC security-related activities essential to PWS requirements
Providing security subject matter expertise towards all WSC security related efforts such as requests for information, security requirements, and qualifications
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external customers, to include Site Security, Personal Security, and all other functional security areas within agency
Serving as Acting WSC Manager when needed
Working with subcontractor to oversee all Visitor Control Center (VCC) activities
Complete security requirements for government, prime and subcontractor personnel
Planning and coordinating WSC security services, and related functions to include the implementation and supervision of programs to ensure maximum utilization within the facility
Coordinating with responsible Company Facility Security Officer (FSO), to perform functions to ensure personnel DoD Clearance requirements are met and maintained
Being knowledgeable and have ability to access Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castle, M3/SMS, DEERS/Rapids, e-Travel, C-Cure 9000, MDI database, PeopleSoft Access Management System (PSAM)
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work assigned projects
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Strong working knowledge of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) (DISS), Scattered Castles, e-Travel, M3/SMS, DEERS/Rapids C-Cure 9000, MDI database, PeopleSoft Access Management System (PSAM)
Ability to adapt to frequent change and a fast -paced work environment
Ability to perform work independently and under limited direct supervision
Consistently demonstrate proactive, polite and positive professionalism
Strong customer service experience with direct customer or client contact
Classification management experience regarding generation, receipt, handling, storage, discussion, reproduction, and destruction of classified information
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with others in a positive, customer focused manner
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Government security clearance
Associates degree and 7 years of job-related experience
11 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated, recent experience in government, preferably within the DoD
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication, relationship and teambuilding skills
Strong Microsoft Office suite and other security information management systems skills
