Crusoe is on a mission to align computing growth with clean energy. As we expand our cloud, digital infrastructure, and manufacturing operations, scaling our teams thoughtfully is critical. We’re looking for a Workforce Planning Manager to build and own the way we plan, track, and forecast headcount. This role connects Finance, Recruiting, People Ops, and business leaders so we can anticipate talent needs, align with budgets, and deliver against operational commitments. You’ll combine hands-on ownership of our headcount planning system with strategic partnership to executives, helping Crusoe grow responsibly while keeping pace with demand.
Job Responsibility:
Own and administer Crusoe’s headcount planning software, ensuring accuracy, usability, and adoption across leaders
Manage headcount data end-to-end: reconciling plans, updating roles, maintaining data quality, and driving reliable reporting
Partner with Finance to translate company strategy into headcount budgets that are realistic and aligned to business goals
Work with Recruiting to balance hiring demand with recruiter capacity, funnel health, and time-to-fill expectations
Build clear dashboards and reporting that bring together data from Finance, Recruiting, People Ops, and Workplace into one source of truth
Translate headcount data into insights that help leaders understand trade-offs, sequencing, and timing
Model growth scenarios to account for hiring pace, attrition, budget shifts, and workspace needs
Partner closely with Crusoe’s manufacturing and digital infrastructure teams to design workforce plans that support contract delivery and operational milestones
Support executives and business leaders through quarterly and annual planning cycles, surfacing risks and recommendations
Establish consistent definitions, standards, and governance for headcount across the company
Anticipate downstream impacts of hiring decisions (budget, capacity, real estate, onboarding) and proactively flag them for leadership
Drive cross-functional alignment, acting as the connector across Finance, Recruiting, People Ops, and Operations
Identify and implement process improvements that make workforce planning more efficient, scalable, and transparent
Requirements:
7+ years in workforce planning, headcount analytics, FP&A, or a related role, ideally in a fast-scaling company
Experience administering or deeply managing headcount planning tools, with the ability to troubleshoot, configure, and improve them
Strong analytical skills and comfort working across HRIS, ATS, and financial planning systems
Ability to zoom in on details while also zooming out to advise executives and influence strategy
Proven success building new processes and capabilities from scratch
A communicator who can simplify complex data for leaders and drive alignment across functions
Someone energized by the chance to shape a new function and grow it as Crusoe expands
What we offer:
Restricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology company
Health insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependents
Employer contributions to HSA accounts

Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
