Job Responsibility:
Strategize & Scale: Oversee an annual budget of $2.25 million and additional funding as it becomes available
Oversee multiple grants that support businesses with training and expansion. Develop new grants based on economic conditions and industry needs in Wyoming
Empower a Team: Manage and oversee all administrative responsibilities of the WDTF program, including both full-time and temporary staff. Responsible for direct supervision of full-time and temporary staff, including regular training on grants and grant systems
Lead the overall direction of work for all personnel within the program. Direct and manage all program activities, including the program budget
Develop, review, and analyze grant requirements, contracts, and policy. Oversee the preparation and presentation of applications to Wyoming Workforce Development Council sub-committee meetings for approval recommendations to the agency director
Inspire & Educate: Develop public presentations and educational materials for businesses, community colleges, economic development entities, and other key workforce partners across the state. Participate in state-wide webinars and question-and-answer sessions with the public, individual businesses, and training providers to explain grant rules and processes
Collaborate with Wyoming businesses, Community Colleges, Chambers of Commerce, Wyoming Economic Development Association, Wyoming State Council of Human Resources, Rotary Clubs, Next Generation Sector Partnership Groups, Wyoming Business Council, and other workforce partners to administer grant information and provide technical assistance
Ensure adherence to state grant rules and regulations for all grants. Oversee tracking program budget and manage expenditures for all grants

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Grants and Contracts Administration Specialist
OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Grants and Contracts Administration Specialist
Knowledge of grant management
Knowledge of workforce development issues and needs
Knowledge of database management
Knowledge of budget operations and management
Knowledge of grants and contracts regulations, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of agency policies and procedures
Ability to work with a variety of audiences and entities
Ability to communicate well with others
Ability to navigate Word, Excel, and Google
Ability to utilize customer service skills
