As the Radiologist Roster Coordinator, you will be the engine room of the department, ensuring that service coverage is achieved across multiple sites throughout the state. You will manage the schedules of up to 120 doctors, balancing subspecialty needs with complex leave requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain rosters for 120 radiologists, including on-call, and regional coverage
Managing the significant challenge of 10 weeks of annual leave per doctor, ensuring gaps are proactively resolved
Acting as a primary point of contact for senior medical staff, providing professional support to ensure doctors are placed at the right sites based on their specific skill sets
Utilising UKG (Kronos) to maintain accurate workforce data and process entitlements
Responding rapidly to sick calls and emergencies to update rosters and maintain service delivery
Requirements:
Experience using UKG (Kronos) for workforce management
1–2 years of experience in workforce planning or rostering, ideally within a healthcare environment
Confidence and professionalism in liaising with senior doctors, with the ability to build trust and maintain respectful relationships
Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when resolving sudden coverage gaps under pressure
