Job Description

The Workforce Planner (Europe) will own workforce planning across a portfolio of schools, translating strategy, growth plans, and operational realities into robust workforce models and actionable decisions. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, finance, and operations, with real accountability for outcomes. You will shape how schools plan, cost, and deploy their people — ensuring the right capability is in place, at the right time, and at the right cost.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and maintain workforce models aligned to school operating models, timetables, and curriculum requirements
  • Forecast staffing needs based on growth plans, enrolment projections, and seasonality
  • Control and optimise staffing costs, balancing educational quality with financial discipline
  • Partner with school leaders and regional leadership to turn analysis into clear, practical decisions
  • Improve and standardise workforce planning tools, systems, and processes across Europe
  • Test and apply AI and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making
  • Ensure workforce plans align with regulatory, compliance, and local market constraints
  • Provide insight and challenge to senior stakeholders using data, scenarios, and clear narratives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, strategic planning, analytics, or operating-model design
  • Comfortable working with complex systems involving multiple constraints and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability — able to build models, test scenarios, and extract insight
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing or influencing cost and resource decisions
  • Hands-on mindset — able to move from strategy to execution without losing momentum
  • Confident working directly with senior leaders, challenging assumptions when needed
  • Curious about how AI and technology can improve planning and decision quality
  • Experience in education, multi-site operations, or highly regulated environments is a plus
