The Workforce Planner (Europe) will own workforce planning across a portfolio of schools, translating strategy, growth plans, and operational realities into robust workforce models and actionable decisions. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, finance, and operations, with real accountability for outcomes. You will shape how schools plan, cost, and deploy their people — ensuring the right capability is in place, at the right time, and at the right cost.
Job Responsibility:
Design and maintain workforce models aligned to school operating models, timetables, and curriculum requirements
Forecast staffing needs based on growth plans, enrolment projections, and seasonality
Control and optimise staffing costs, balancing educational quality with financial discipline
Partner with school leaders and regional leadership to turn analysis into clear, practical decisions
Improve and standardise workforce planning tools, systems, and processes across Europe
Test and apply AI and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making
Ensure workforce plans align with regulatory, compliance, and local market constraints
Provide insight and challenge to senior stakeholders using data, scenarios, and clear narratives
Requirements:
Proven experience in workforce planning, strategic planning, analytics, or operating-model design
Comfortable working with complex systems involving multiple constraints and stakeholders
Strong analytical capability — able to build models, test scenarios, and extract insight
Commercially aware, with experience managing or influencing cost and resource decisions
Hands-on mindset — able to move from strategy to execution without losing momentum
Confident working directly with senior leaders, challenging assumptions when needed
Curious about how AI and technology can improve planning and decision quality
Experience in education, multi-site operations, or highly regulated environments is a plus
