Job Description

This role is dedicated to supporting patient financial services and ensuring smooth coordination of workers' compensation claims.

Job Responsibility

  • Generate and submit authorization requests for workers' compensation claims
  • Review, interpret, and manage progress reports, including PR2 documentation
  • Utilize relevant tools and systems to copy, paste, and submit documentation accurately
  • Process submissions through designated portals to ensure timely approvals
  • Collaborate with patients to gather necessary intake information and address financial concerns
  • Monitor and track the status of workers' compensation cases for updates
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all processes
  • Work with internal teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows
  • Maintain organized records of all claims and patient interactions
  • Provide clear communication and updates to patients regarding their claims

Requirements

  • Previous experience in patient financial services or financial counseling
  • Proficiency in online tools and systems used for claims management
  • Strong ability to interpret and process documentation such as progress reports
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and intake processes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing authorizations and submissions
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation protocols and regulations
