Job Responsibility:
Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and trials, ensuring their legal rights are protected
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other required documentation
Manage discovery processes, including gathering evidence and performing depositions
Collaborate with team members to develop effective case strategies and share insights
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to advance case objectives
Demonstrate leadership by mentoring less experienced attorneys and contributing to team development
Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and integrate knowledge into practice
Participate in philanthropic initiatives and community outreach aligned with the firm's values
Ensure compliance with all ethical and detail-oriented standards of legal practice
Utilize remote work options effectively when applicable, in accordance with company policy
Requirements:
Licensed attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation or civil litigation
Proven track record handling hearings and trials within the industrial commission
Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision
Proficient in managing discovery processes and conducting depositions
Excellent research and analytical skills to support case preparation
