We are looking for an experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers Compensation law and a proven ability to handle related cases effectively. Job Responsibility

  • Represent clients in Workers Compensation cases, ensuring their rights are protected and they receive appropriate benefits
  • Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather evidence and build strong cases
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding Workers Compensation claims and related matters
  • Manage civil litigation proceedings involving Workers Compensation disputes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external parties to develop effective case strategies
  • Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania Workers Compensation laws and regulations
  • Advocate for clients during hearings and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Stay updated on changes in Workers Compensation law and integrate new knowledge into case strategies

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney with active credentials in Pennsylvania
  • Extensive experience in Pennsylvania Workers Compensation law
  • Strong background in civil litigation, particularly related to Workers Compensation
  • Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Skilled in conducting discovery and collecting evidence
  • Ability to provide expert legal counsel and advice to clients
  • Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills
