Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Workday Tester to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with functional and capability leads to ensure the successful execution of test scenarios within the Workday platform. Your expertise in quality assurance and manual testing will play a key role in troubleshooting and addressing testing issues during various testing phases.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with functional and capability leads to create and refine detailed test scenarios, steps, and expected results
  • Execute comprehensive test scenarios within the Workday platform, ensuring accuracy and functionality
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve testing issues, particularly during End-to-End and Parallel Testing phases
  • Leverage your functional knowledge of Workday modules such as payroll, absence management, and time tracking to support testing efforts
  • Conduct manual testing and maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the process
  • Write and maintain clear and comprehensive test scripts and cases
  • Apply expertise in automated testing tools like Selenium to enhance testing efficiency
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that testing aligns with project timelines and quality standards
  • Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, manual testing, and test case development
  • Strong functional knowledge of Workday financials, including budgeting, projects, procurement, grants, business assets, banking and settlements
  • Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test scripts and scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving testing issues during complex testing phases
  • Ability to work independently within the Workday platform with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
