Job Description:

This is a senior-level Workday Solution Architect role focused on designing and owning the technical solution for a large-scale Workday Financials implementation in an enterprise environment. You will serve as the client-side technical authority, partnering closely with a third-party system integrator while ensuring architectural decisions prioritize long-term platform health, scalability, compliance, and best practices—not shortcuts. This role is hands-on and delivery-oriented, not advisory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Owning the end-to-end Workday Financials solution architecture
  • Designing and governing configuration, integrations, security, and data architecture
  • Leading architectural design reviews and enforcing Workday best practices
  • Challenging system integrator design decisions when needed
  • Driving adoption of standard Workday patterns over legacy approaches
  • Supporting integrations, data migration, testing, and go-live readiness
  • Ensuring architecture supports audit, compliance, and internal controls

Requirements:

  • 10+ years delivering enterprise finance or ERP systems
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Workday Financials (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Procurement, Accounting Center/Prism, Reporting)
  • Strong expertise in Workday integrations (Studio, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs)
  • Proven experience owning solution architecture in large enterprise environments
