Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a highly skilled Workday Reporting Analyst to support one of our clients on an interim basis. This role involves designing and delivering complex reports, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing performance for enterprise-scale operations. As a critical contributor to the ongoing Workday implementation, you will play an integral role in turning data into actionable insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain a variety of advanced Workday reports, including matrix, composite, trending, and calculated fields
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications
  • Conduct thorough data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of payroll reports and compliance with financial records
  • Optimize report performance by troubleshooting and fine-tuning parameters for efficiency
  • Ensure sensitive payroll data adheres to security standards and governance policies within Workday
  • Create and document clear user guides, testing procedures, and logic definitions for internal teams and audits
  • Support outbound data integrations to financial systems, third-party vendors, and business intelligence platforms
  • Perform audits and validations to confirm compliance with statutory payroll reporting requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage reporting requests based on business impact

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Workday reporting, specifically within payroll data structures such as earnings, deductions, and retro calculations
  • Advanced proficiency in building calculated fields and navigating Workday’s Business Object Model
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, audit controls, and regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with integrating data feeds to external systems, including financial tools and benefits platforms
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requests and communicate priorities effectively with stakeholders
  • Expertise in validation testing and data reconciliation for enterprise payroll systems
  • Solid background in business analysis and systems integration related to Workday
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for managing large-scale data sets
