We are looking for an experienced Workday Payroll Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with clients across diverse industries, providing tailored solutions and fostering long-term, detail-oriented relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Design and implement scalable payroll operating models that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into efficient payroll processes
Lead the development and deployment of Workday Payroll modules, including Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence
Create and maintain project documentation such as design decisions, configuration workbooks, and test results
Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency through practical solutions
Stay updated on Workday releases and payroll technology trends to deliver proactive insights
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Contribute to client proposals and strategies aimed at acquiring new business opportunities
Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Communicate complex HR and payroll challenges effectively to clients, including executive-level stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven expertise with Workday HCM and Workday Payroll systems
At least 7 years of experience in payroll management or related fields
Strong ability to assess payroll operations and regulatory requirements
Experience in configuring and deploying Workday Payroll and associated modules
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to clients at various levels
Leadership experience, including mentoring and supervising teams
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Ability to stay informed about industry trends and apply them to client solutions
