Job Responsibility:
Partner with customers to maximize the value of their Workday investments by implementing certified integrations that automate internal business processes
Collaborate with sales prospects to set expectations, define project scope, and understand client requirements
Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve integrations, exploring opportunities to extend functionality and deliver greater value to customers
Proactively suggest, define, and help implement new ways to support our customers’ needs
Design, develop, and implement Workday integrations, with a focus on third-party payroll systems, ensuring seamless payroll data transfers
Provide technical expertise in payroll integrations, including mapping data fields, troubleshooting data transfer issues, and validating payroll outputs
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies when handling sensitive HR and payroll information
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integrations, including data flow diagrams, field mappings, and process flows
Manage stakeholders and project deliverables to ensure smooth and timely implementation
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Workday Integration Consultant, with a focus on Workday Core HCM and third-party payroll integrations
Workday Certified in Core Connector Tools & Payroll (CCTPP) and Integration Core
Proven experience adapting to new Workday environments and project requirements
Strong background in consulting or project-based work, with a focus on delivering customer value and experience rather than solely deployment volume
Demonstrated experience integrating Workday with third-party payroll systems
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools, including EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services APIs
Solid understanding of Workday business processes related to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management
Functional knowledge of Workday HCM, Compensation, and Recruiting, with expertise in data flows affecting payroll
Strong understanding of standard payroll concepts, including gross-to-net calculations, tax jurisdiction rules, and wage types
Nice to have:
Experience with Prism, Studio, Extend, or custom report building is a plus
