Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Workday HCM Consultant to support ongoing operations, configuration, and enhancement activities within a Workday HCM environment. This role will provide staff‑augmentation support across day‑to‑day HCM processes, workforce changes, reporting, and functional troubleshooting while partnering closely with HR Technology teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, adaptable, and able to balance transactional execution with broader functional support across Workday HCM.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide functional and operational support across Workday HCM, including employee and contingent worker lifecycle activities
  • Prepare, format, and load EIBs to support workforce transactions such as hires, job changes, terminations, conversions, and organizational updates
  • Configure and maintain Workday data to support staffing, organizational, and compliance-related changes
  • Develop, modify, and enhance Workday reports—including Advanced Reports and calculated fields—to support operational, audit, and business requirements
  • Collaborate with HR Technology, HR, Payroll, and other cross-functional partners to assess needs and deliver effective Workday solutions
  • Support testing efforts for configuration changes, EIBs, integrations, and system updates
  • Assist with documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement of Workday HCM processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Workday experience
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM in a production environment
  • Demonstrated experience with EIBs, Workday web services, and transactional processing
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting, including Advanced Reports and calculated fields
  • Strong understanding of the Workday HCM staffing model, including Supervisory Organizations and Custom Organizations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a staff‑augmentation, AMS, or post–go‑live support model
  • Exposure to additional Workday functional areas (e.g., Recruiting, Absence, Benefits, or Payroll integrations)
  • Experience supporting workforce changes related to reorganizations, acquisitions/divestitures, or compliance initiatives
  • Workday certifications in HCM or related modules
