Job Description:

The role involves providing functional support and assistance for Workday Financials, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting system issues, and configuring system functionalities. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to implement process improvements, gather system requirements, and provide training as needed. The role will also include analyzing data, reporting, and offering expert guidance on financials-related tasks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing functional support and assistance for Workday Financials, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting system issues, and configuring system functionalities
  • Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to implement process improvements, gather system requirements, and provide training as needed
  • Analyzing data, reporting, and offering expert guidance on financials-related tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in Workday Financial tools, configuration, and system maintenance
  • Strong functional knowledge of financial processes such as Accounts Payable, Receivables, and General Ledger and Procure to Pay
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical or functional issues
  • Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and financial system documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and training skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience with State Government projects is a plus
  • Experience working with enterprise-level applications and government contracts (preferred)
