ELEKS Software development & engineering office is looking for a Workday Finance Developer in Argentina. Our customer is one of the top five health insurance companies in the United States, serving over 15 million members across five states and employing more than 20,000 people. The client is focused on expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare and empowering members with the tools and information needed to make informed decisions. ELEKS supports these goals by designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of internal and external IT systems. A Workday Finance Developer designs, builds, and maintains Workday solutions for financial processes, focusing on integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Web Services), custom reports (BIRT, Matrix), and configurations within Workday Financials modules such as Accounting, Procurement, and Projects. The role ensures data accuracy and efficient workflows by collaborating closely with Finance and IT teams and staying current with Workday releases and enhancements.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain Workday Finance solutions aligned with business requirements
Build and support inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services, XML, XSLT, XPath, and complex calculated fields
Design and maintain custom financial reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, BIRT)
Configure and support Workday Financials modules, including Accounting, Procurement, Projects, and Banking
Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure efficient financial workflows
Lead integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-production support
Maintain detailed technical documentation, including designs, process flows, and test plans
Stay current with Workday releases, recommend enhancements, and support upgrade activities
Ensure ongoing system stability, compliance, and data quality
Requirements:
Solid hands-on experience as a Workday Developer or in a similar role
Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), RaaS, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP)
Good understanding of Workday data model, integration architecture, and security concepts
Experience working with Workday Financials modules (Accounting, Procurement, Projects, Banking, Customer/Supplier Accounts)
Experience with custom financial reporting, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports, and BIRT
Ability to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions with clear documentation
Proven ability to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders
Familiarity with change management processes and technical documentation
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
Nice to have:
Workday certifications (Workday Integration Certified, Workday Studio Certified)
Experience with ERP or enterprise financial systems
Familiarity with compliance and security models in enterprise environments
