PPG Industries, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Workday Application Developer Specialist, HR IT position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for analysis, integration development, and configuration of the Workday platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyzing and creating detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications
  • configuring the Workday platform, including integrations development
  • supporting testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and developing enhancements
  • performing day-to-day Workday production support and serving as subject matter expert for assigned HCM integrations
  • staying up to date with Workday enhancements and future product releases to support internal HR teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position
  • three (3) years with each of the following: Workday integrations, system configurations, and implementation
  • developing and modifying reports and integrations from Workday to internal and external systems
  • any experience with or knowledge of the following Workday technologies: calculated fields, Custom Reports, EIB's, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Web Services, and PICOFs
