Job Description:

As a Workday Specialist, you will support the international rollout and continuous development of the existing Workday system, working closely with HR Business Partners and the HR Project Manager in Hamburg or Bremen.

Job Responsibility:

Configure existing Workday modules, set up new ones, and ensure smooth system operation
Act as the main point of contact for all countries, supporting complex inquiries worldwide
Introduce new modules, optimize existing functionalities, and identify opportunities for improvement
Manage external implementation partners, coordinate dependencies, and guide new country implementations from planning to go-live
Plan, test, and execute regular Workday releases, including training and advising users
Consolidate requirements from different business areas, evaluate cost-benefit aspects, and translate input into clear, structured roadmaps

Requirements:

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Several years of experience in HR IT – ideally with Workday, or extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar systems
Strong understanding of HR processes and their implementation in global system landscapes
Excellent communication and consulting skills, with confident stakeholder management
Responsible, team-oriented working style, able to set priorities and drive initiatives in a structured manner
Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle is also welcome
