Job Responsibility

  • Administer and maintain the Workday platform, including configuration, updates, and ongoing system optimization
  • Manage core HRIS functions such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Recruiting modules
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday support, troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related inquiries
  • Configure and maintain business processes, workflows, security roles, and organizational structures
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements or improvements
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all Workday transactions and reporting
  • Create, maintain, and audit reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools
  • Support system integrations with third-party applications and vendors (e.g., payroll providers, benefits platforms)
  • Manage Workday releases and updates, including testing, validation, and communication of new features
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and support to improve adoption and system usage
  • Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities
  • Maintain security administration, including user access, roles, and compliance with company policies
  • Assist with audits, data governance, and regulatory compliance efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience administering Workday (HCM required
  • additional modules a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, including business process frameworks, security roles, and organizations
  • Experience supporting one or more Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, or Time Tracking
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting (standard, advanced, and/or dashboards)
  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, or third-party interfaces) preferred
  • Familiarity with data management, data integrity best practices, and audit processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve system issues efficiently
  • Experience supporting system upgrades, releases, and testing cycles
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT teams
  • Understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data privacy standards
  • Experience training or supporting end users on HRIS platforms preferred
  • Workday certifications (HCM, Integration, or relevant modules) are a plus
