We're looking for a Work Experience Project Lead to take a strategic and hands-on lead in developing and delivering high‑impact work experience opportunities for young people in Peterborough – particularly those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). In this role, you'll design, implement and continuously improve opportunities that create pathways into employment such as work experience, volunteering and internship projects that help young people build confidence, professional skills and awareness of career options. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Council, local employers and partner organisations to create a strong, sustainable Work Experience Framework for both internal and external use. You'll use data, insight and feedback from young people to shape projects, identify barriers to participation and develop practical solutions. Alongside delivery, you'll champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring opportunities are accessible and meaningful for all. This is a fixed‑term role until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of extension.
