We are seeking a competent and motivated WBL Assessor Trainer to join our wonderful college. The successful candidate will manage and support a caseload of apprentices, guiding them through their NVQ qualification, portfolio development, and End Point Assessment, while maintaining strong employer relationships and high standards of quality and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a caseload of Electrical Installation apprentices, supporting them through their NVQ qualification and portfolio development
  • Conduct workplace assessments and deliver classroom-based support where required
  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with employers
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and records
  • Keep up to date with current industry standards, awarding body requirements, and Health & Safety legislation
  • Prepare and guide apprentices through End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative mindset
  • Adhere to and actively promote the College’s policies and practices

Requirements:

  • Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent 2391 qualification in testing and inspection
  • Level 3 NVQ in electrical installation
  • AM2/Am2s
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent or will achieve
  • Substantial, relevant industry experience
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use or the means to be able to get to locations covering Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties
  • Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
