Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact rebuild of a key platform while being part of an entrepreneurial environment at the intersection of technology and entertainment. The initial contract/temporary role includes a 90-day scope to rebuild and migrate the website onto a new WordPress platform. There's potential for this role to evolve into full-time employment.

Job Responsibility:

Website Rebuild and Migration: Redesign and migrate the current website into a WordPress platform we own and operate
Server Setup: Build a new server foundation for the site to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Web Development and Programming: Execute all programming functions, including integrating dynamic features and functionalities
Light Design Work: Incorporate clean and professional design elements into the development process based on Figma concepts we have in place
3D Graphics and Integration: Work with or integrate 3D files and other graphical data as needed
Ongoing Support: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the site in the shorter term while providing sustainable development solutions for long-term use

Requirements:

Extensive experience with WordPress development, including building custom themes and plugins
Solid understanding of server architecture and the ability to set up, test, and deploy servers efficiently
Experience with JavaScript and integrating graphics or 3D files into websites is a strong plus
Proficiency in front-end tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development skills
A strong eye for design and user experience, with the ability to deliver visually appealing and intuitive sites
Self-motivated, startup-oriented mindset, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Willingness to work 5 days onsite in the New Orleans area (Metairie)
