Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Word Processor to support the preparation and review of medical documentation. This long-term contract position is well suited for someone with strong written language skills and a background in medical scribing, transcription, or document production. The ideal candidate will bring accuracy, speed, and consistency to document formatting, spelling review, and overall quality control.

Job Responsibility

  • Review medical documents carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, and overall document quality
  • Perform spelling, grammar, and formatting checks before materials are finalized or distributed
  • Apply word processing standards to create clean, clear, and easy-to-read documents
  • Edit and organize written content so that medical documentation is clear and properly structured
  • Compose and revise correspondence and other written materials as needed in support of daily operations
  • Maintain a high level of typing accuracy while managing assigned document workloads within expected timelines

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in word processing, document editing, or related administrative writing support
  • Strong typing ability with a speed of at least 60 words per minute
  • Excellent spelling, proofreading, and written communication skills
  • Ability to format documents accurately and maintain consistent presentation standards
  • Background in medical scribing, medical transcription, or similar document-focused work is preferred
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal errors
