We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator within a high-end custom wood manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing technical drawings to life while upholding elite quality standards. You will operate specialized machinery to produce critical wood components, ensuring every piece meets exact specifications. This position features a consistent daytime schedule of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a competitive salary based on your industry experience.
Job Responsibility:
Set up and operate wood-specific CNC machines
Load and align raw materials to prepare for machining cycles
Monitor the cutting process to ensure parts are accurate and troubleshoot any issues
Perform basic daily maintenance and cleaning to keep machines running smoothly
Follow all safety protocols and use guards to ensure a safe working environment
Inspect finished parts using calipers and hand tools to verify they match the work order
Handle and stack finished wood products carefully to prevent damage to the finish
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience operating CNC machines
Previous experience specifically within a woodworking or furniture manufacturing shop
Hands-on experience with CNC Equipment
Ability to read work orders and follow technical instructions accurately
Comfortable using manual tools like calipers, chisels, and files for fine adjustments
Strong commitment to shop safety and hazard reporting
