Job Description

We are looking for a Wok Chef to join our team at Hawker Hall. Hawker Hall is a dining hall inspired by the vibrant hawker centers of Singapore & Malaysia, feeding 4,000 people weekly. At Lucas Collective, we champion growth, recognise talent, celebrate success and create space for individuals to thrive.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively
  • Train and coach Cooks ensuring quality and consistency of products

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate at least 1 year Wok experience in an a la carte environment
  • Asian cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holiday

Nice to have

Asian cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
