We are seeking an experienced WMOS Engineer with 12+ years of techno‑functional experience in Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management Open Systems (WMOS). The role involves designing, configuring, integrating, and supporting WMOS solutions that drive operational excellence across warehouse and distribution operation.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary techno-functional expert for Manhattan WMOS, handling both configuration and technical analysis
Analyze complex warehouse and supply chain business processes to derive system requirements and functional specifications
Support and enhance core WMOS functionalities including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and order orchestration
Work closely with integration teams to ensure smooth connectivity between WMOS and external systems such as ERP, MHE, and ProShip
Perform MHE integration troubleshooting, log analysis, and issue resolution in live warehouse environments
Analyze and debug system issues using Linux/Unix commands and WMOS application logs
Develop and execute functional test cases, support UAT, and validate end-to-end WMS flows
Assist in system configuration, data migration, and performance tuning activities
Collaborate with microservices teams for testing, understanding API workflows, and validating service-based interactions
Provide documentation, end-user training, and post-go-live support including hypercare
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Strong hands‑on experience with Manhattan Associates WMOS across core warehouse modules
Proficiency in PL/SQL for writing queries, backend analysis, and troubleshooting
Good understanding or working knowledge of Microservices and API-based integrations
Hands‑on experience with MHE Integration and troubleshooting automated warehouse equipment
Working knowledge of ProShip Integration (preferred)
Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments for log analysis and system-level debugging
Experience with system configuration, data migration, and environment setup
Ability to analyze complex business processes and convert them into functional and technical requirements
Strong capability to perform functional testing, UAT support, and end-to-end validation of WMOS workflows
Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience in the retail, e‑commerce, or supply chain domain
Exposure to Manhattan Active WM, MAO, or other WMS platforms
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts or DevOps practices
Ability to mentor junior team members or lead small workstreams
Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies and IoT‑enabled systems
