Job Description:

As an assembler/wireman, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and mounting electrical components, testing prepared products, and preparing them for final inspection. The role requires mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in a large manufacturing and distribution company. This position is onsite, located in Northwest Edmonton, and requires personal transportation due to lack of public transit accessibility.

Job Responsibility:

Assembling, fitting, and mounting electrical components
Lifting parts
Power tool usage
Testing prepared products
Preparing products for final inspection
Assembling products based on oral and/or written instructions
Following established procedures
Performing routine maintenance on equipment
Inspecting and testing products to maintain high quality standards
Preparing finished products for shipment
Daily use of hand tools and measurement devices
Working in a diverse and busy team environment
Lifting 35lbs repetitively
Working in a fast-paced manner using a proactive approach
Working in a warehouse setting picking and packing orders
Utilizing reach trucks to move product through warehouse
Loading and unloading trucks

Requirements:

Previous work experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
Hand tools experience
Ability to handle heavy lifting 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Safety boot
Autonomous and punctual
Own transportation is a must

Nice to have:

Comfortable with Electrical diagrams/drawings
