Winter Gritting Operator

• Time and type of work: Duties include night and day driving and manual labour work when required
• Daily operations: Conduct salt gritting operations for sites within the Erlestoke, Calne, Chippenham and Frome regions
• Maintain salt piles: Ensure salt piles are covered at all times
• Equipment: A vehicle, equipment, and training will be provided

• Be honest, enthusiastic, and able to undertake physical work and driving duties mainly at night
• Possess a full UK driving licence
• Be available to work between the hours of (16:00 – 00:00)
• Able to carry out heavy physical labour
• Be able to carry out basic roadside repairs
• Be a hard worker and a problem solver
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and be able to self-manage
• Have access to personal emails on a daily basis and have basic PC skills
• Have the right to work in the UK and consent to obtaining a DBS check (reimbursed by the Company)

Previous skills and knowledge in a similar role may be highly advantageous
