Job Description:

A Windows, AD and VMware Administrator role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Bangalore, India. The role involves Active Directory administration, Windows system troubleshooting, virtualization technologies, and customer support. Certifications like MCSA and VMware VCP are preferred. The position is hybrid, with two days a week in the office.

Job Responsibility:

Troubleshooting Windows OS, Windows Cluster, Performance issues, RDP issues, and Hyper-V
Supporting OS-related issues from installation to dump file analysis
Administering Active Directory and GPOs
Ensuring accurate and synchronized Windows Time Service configuration
Managing HPE Synergy, C7000, Proliant, and Virtual Connect
Monitoring vSphere performance, storage, and networking.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in working on Active Directory
6+ years of experience in Windows Administration
Experience in MS cluster Administration, Networking, Performance Tuning, Patch Management, Windows Upgrades
Good experience required in Windows patching
Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies
Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory and GPOs
Monitor and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, SYSVOL consistency, and DFSR
Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Server 2012 to 2025
Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFSN, in all versions of Windows server
Expert knowledge on Vulnerability mitigation of AD and Windows server
Expert knowledge on Windows Time Service configuration
Experience with infrastructure and server theories, application infrastructure and standards, networking fundamentals, Physical Server architecture, Virtualization Technologies, LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies
Experience in ESXi and vCenter upgrades and Command line Interface
Experience in vCenter management
Experience in vSphere Performance Monitoring and esxtop
Knowledge on Azure IAAS, AD DS, Azure Active Directory Premium
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft technologies
MCSA/MCSE/MCTS/MCITP/MTA/AZ-800/801 certifications desired
Certification on the latest tracks of VMware VCP is an added advantage.

Nice to have:

PowerShell scripting knowledge
Certification on the latest tracks of VMware VCP
Compute knowledge as an addon skill.
