Job Description:

Sopra Steria seeks a Windchill Development Consultant Architect to take full ownership of technical aspects of global Windchill implementation projects. Responsibilities include end-to-end solutioning, mentoring, and customer training while working collaboratively with stakeholders. Desired qualifications include 10-14 years of experience, proficiency in Java J2EE technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities.

Job Responsibility:

End-to-end technical solutioning and architecting for global Windchill implementation
Charting solution blueprints and other documentation
Conducting workshops and conference room pilots to map business requirements
Delivering enterprise PLM solutions collaboratively with stakeholders
Conducting customer training and content development
Mentoring and developing junior consultants

Requirements:

3 or more years of experience as a Windchill Technical or Process Architect
Experience with full-scope implementations, product lifecycle management systems, CAD data management, product data management, and associated networking systems
Extensive experience from both user perspective and technical perspective (business administration, configuration, customization, integration)
Ability to conduct workshops and conference room pilots to understand and analyze customer business need
Proficiency in Java J2EE technologies and Webservices
Knowledge of Windchill API’s and data structure
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Leadership and team-building skills
Experience in large Windchill Implementation and Migration projects
Exposure to Options & Variants, Vendor collaboration, and integration
Knowledge of Windchill Part/CAD/Document Management, Change Management, and Workflow modules

Nice to have:

Experience with PTC Creo and other PTC software
Knowledge of Options & Variants, Vendor collaboration, and integration
Strong understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, and infrastructure capabilities
