Wind Turbine Technician

• Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants
• Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules
• Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements
• Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine
• Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards
• Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills
• Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment

• Physically fit
• Safety-focused
• Love hands-on work
• Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations
• Enthusiastic about green energy
• Skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience
• Worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical
• Full UK drivers licence
• Generally located within 45 minutes of the site
