Requirements

Physically fit
Safety-focused
Love hands-on work
Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations
Enthusiastic about green energy
Skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience
Worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical
Full UK drivers licence
Generally located within 45 minutes of the site

Job Responsibility

Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants
Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules
Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements
Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine
Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards
Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills
Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment
