Job Description:

Exciting entry-level position responsible for the operations, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines at EDPR NA wind-energy sites. Focus on technical tasks, safety compliance, and environmental regulations in a renewable energy sector.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment
proactively identify improvements to processes
identify and mitigate safety risks
demonstrate integrity and teamwork
comply with pertinent health and safety programs
respond to remote operations control center
complete training satisfactorily
document work performed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
strong mechanical background
understanding of Microsoft products
familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment
valid driver’s license
willingness and ability to pass a background investigation and drug test

Nice to have:

Technical school education
1-2 years relevant experience in wind energy or a related industry
experience with power plant operations and maintenance
knowledge of SQL Server software and computerized diagnostic tools
proficiency in crane and rigging requirements
