Job Description:

Entry-level position responsible for on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at wind-energy generation site. Completes safety documentation, conducts equipment inspections, and ensures compliance with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment
proactively look for improvement opportunities
identify safety gaps and implement risk mitigation
comply with environmental health and safety programs
work with Remote Operations Control Center
complete required training
document all work performed
adhere to internal controls

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
technical school education preferred
strong mechanical background, specifically gearing-related
1-2 years relevant experience in wind energy or related industry (preferred)
understanding of Microsoft products and complementing products
experience with power plant operations and maintenance, wind plant operations and turbines (preferred)
familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (preferred)
proficient knowledge of SQL Server software, facility management, reporting systems (preferred)
willingness and ability to pass a background investigation and drug test
valid driver's license with safe driving record
ability to climb turbine towers in excess of 100 meters
weight between 125 lbs. and 275 lbs.

familiarity with maintenance equipment
SQL Server knowledge
