Job Description:

Entry-level position responsible for on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at wind-energy generation sites. Tasks include completing LOTO, Tail Board, documentation, equipment inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment
identify improvement opportunities to processes and procedures
identify safety gaps and implement risk mitigation
comply with environmental health and safety programs
coordinate with Remote Operations Control Center
complete required training
document all work performed using computer-based reporting

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
technical school education preferred
strong mechanical background, specifically gearing-related
1-2 years relevant experience in wind energy or related industry (preferred)
understanding of Microsoft products
experience with power plant operations and maintenance (preferred)
familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (preferred)
proficient knowledge of SQL Server software (preferred)
ability to pass background investigation and drug test
valid driver's license with safe driving record
