Requirements

School of Management or University Degree
Apprenticeship in the specific sector with a Degree from the Chamber of Commerce
At least 6-12 years of experience in the renewable energy sector with specific focus on wind development in the DACH region
Origination skills and open-minded mentality to communicate across cultural barriers
2 to 3 years of experience in Wind development, or similar requiring project management with communities and handling of the German environmental permitting process
Greenfield development experience combined with technical know-how in the wind sector
Hands-on approach, problem solving skills and interested in renewable energy in general
Well acquainted with the German regulatory system and its bureaucratic hurdles
Able to communicate well with land-owners as well as C-level executives
Willing to handle multiple projects within a certain timeframe

Job Responsibility

Explore new and relevant sites through targeted personal research or through results made available by the GIS Team, with public and private actors
Develop and animate a network of land scouts and originators in Germany
Qualify projects with a view to integrating them into the EDP development process
Secure land through the negotiation and signing of promises of lease
Represent the company with local public or private actors, state services and communities in order to introduce EDP and make projects socially viable
Initiate the launch of the procedures to apply for the environmental permitting process to include licensed planning offices and expand internal resources based on future requirements and forecasting
