Use your skills to support those who serve Wyoming families! The Wyoming WIC Program is seeking a dedicated Training and Recruitment Coordinator. This role is vital in ensuring that both new and current employees have the training, resources, and technical support necessary to deliver effective service and maintain federal compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Training Coordination (35%): Maintains and implements comprehensive onboarding processes and checklists for all local agency roles. Develops training strategies, conducts statewide needs analyses, and explores innovative delivery methods, including online modules and video tutorials
Help Desk and Technical Support (30%): Oversees the WIC Help Desk, providing technical troubleshooting and documenting recurring issues. Acts as a subject matter expert for program systems (MIS, Participant Portal) and leads User Acceptance Testing
Recruitment Coordination (15%): Initiates and tracks recruitment documentation, coordinates activities with HR and hiring managers, and assists clinic supervisors with applicant screening and reference checks
Outreach & Communications (10%): Develops electronic publications and manages program-level social media to communicate agency accomplishments and support participant recruitment
Monitoring and Evaluation (10%): Participates in program evaluations and quality improvement workgroups. Monitors new hire progress and evaluates the effectiveness of training materials to enhance learning outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Education)
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Instructor II
OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Instructor II
Knowledge of adult learning principles and e-learning content development
Knowledge of help desk operations and technical troubleshooting
Knowledge of recruitment processes and personnel documentation
Strong presentation, writing, and organizational skills to manage concurrent priorities
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly guides
Successful applicants must pass a background check, including fingerprinting
Successful applicants must complete an Employee Health Assessment and verify immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Public/Health Administration, or Communications
1–2 years of progressive work experience in Health Programs
