Rock County WIC is looking for a part or full time Registered Dietitian, Registered Dietetic Technician, or candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in a Food science or Nutrition and Dietetics program to provide nutrition services for the WIC Supplemental Nutrition Program.

  • Provides program management of WIC offices within the region, including quality assurance activities
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate-level employees within the local agency and region
  • Communicates with relevant parties regarding changes to rules, expectations, and goals while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Assures the development of services and that actual service delivery meets the needs of participants, and assures that areas of concern with service delivery are appropriately addressed
  • Assesses community needs and conducts appropriate outreach
  • Conduct and tailor nutrition screening, assessment, and education, and health screens, including anthropometric and hematologic assessment, to determine WIC eligibility
