The Wi-Fi / Bluetooth Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and guiding the integration of connectivity subsystems within next-generation automotive infotainment platforms. The role involves architecture definition, performance optimization, certification readiness, and cross-domain coordination for global vehicle programs.
Job Responsibility:
Define system-level Wi-Fi and Bluetooth architecture (hardware + software) for infotainment platforms
Lead the connectivity subsystem design covering WLAN, BT Classic, BLE, and Coexistence mechanisms
Collaborate with SoC vendors (Qualcomm, Broadcom, NXP, etc.) for HLOS and firmware integration
Define and review interface requirements between Wi-Fi / BT stack, middleware, and application layers
Drive feature integration and validation for Bluetooth profiles and Wi-Fi features
Architect and oversee projection features integration (Android Auto / CarPlay wireless modes)
Define and optimize coexistence strategy between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE/5G modems
Support system performance tuning, throughput optimization, and latency reduction
Define certification readiness plans – Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG (IOP), regulatory compliance (FCC/CE)
Provide technical leadership to development and integration teams, reviewing designs and test plans
Support root-cause analysis and debugging of complex RF or connectivity interoperability issues
Collaborate with platform, middleware, and audio teams to ensure robust cross-domain integration
Evaluate and integrate diagnostic and logging tools (mandiag, QXDM, Wireshark, BTSnoop, etc.)
