Job Description:

We are seeking a WHSE & Facilities Governance Advisor to join a high-profile program within the Defence industry. This is not a traditional field safety role. Instead, you will focus on the integrity of safety frameworks, contractor verification, and facilities risk management within a complex, high-tech environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the integrity of WHSE and Facilities governance and assurance policies
  • Lead the Contractor Verification Program, reviewing industry partner reporting and providing risk escalations to senior leadership
  • Maintain the Program's Facilities Register and provide expert advice on maintenance and infrastructure requirements
  • Use Power BI to analyse compliance data and produce high-level performance metrics for executive decision-making
  • Provide verbal and written specialist advice to senior stakeholders on legislative and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in WHSE governance, ideally in infrastructure, construction, or high-risk industries
  • Tertiary qualification in OHS/WHS or a related field
  • Strong background in Quality Auditing (ISO 45001/4801)
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data analytics
  • Exceptional written skills for drafting executive reports and policies
  • Australian Citizenship is required
  • Candidates with an active NV1 clearance are preferred
